The cast iron elements: After cleaning, apply polish to maintain the paint.
The reclaimed stone elements: After cleaning, apply repellent. Whatever the elements (iron or stone), it is essential not to shock them to not chip the surface of coatings (paint and waterproof). Otherwise, it is mandatory to apply the corrosion or water repellent on the points of impact.
Tips:
The genuine cast iron features are covered with 3 coats of paint including 2 anti-corrosives. The elements of reconstituted stone are all non-freezing and covered with waterproof surface in the case of hues and colors. Each fountain comes with a faucet in polished brass and hardware to link the elements together. Clamps and cement glue for sealing against your support is not provided because they depend on it.
Important :
For the installation of a fountain, remember to place upstream of the installation a bleeder valve in order to drain the water line in winter.
